She certainly didn’t start OUT a ‘git’ but she didn’t do anything about NOT beCOMing one. For someone who’d been treated SO badly throughout her childhood and adolescence you’d think she’d have compassion for others but it appears that she did not.

Can't imagine what I would / could have done differently in Elizabeth's place, even with 21st century retrospective. She was a survivor.
